Attaching piezo arrays

#1 Post by fender3x »

What is the best way to attach a piezo array to a jack? It doesn't seem like the four screws at the corners would be enough... Do folks add more screws? Are they glued to the wood? Is something like weather stripping added to the back to prevent rattling? What is the best practice?

Drill holes at every junction and put a screw there. And yes some weather strip wouldn't hurt.

Finally a use for all those black nubby screws I got on a past project ;-) Thanks, Bruce!

Be sure to paint them. Black anodized screws will rust.
