Inexpensive SLA Drivers

#1 Post by Benflitv30 »

Anyone here know of a source for appropriate and inexpensive SLA woofers and tweeters? Perhaps some NSB’s as Bill refers to. The listed woofers within the plans on Parts Express are about $20 each.

This would be my second set of the six mid/nine tweeter variant. Have been very happy with them since 2012.

Thank you!

Hey Ben, welcome back.

I'm not aware of any super blowout's at the moment. The $7.18 GRS 4PF-8 looks to be about the best deal. EXCEPT the Qts is slightly high at 1.34, where the plans call for a maximum of 1.1. Not sure if that's close enough or a total no-go.

Those are OK, but may be a bit boomy. These are better, $13 in quantity. https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Au ... er-295-160

I appreciate it, Bill! Definitely a good savings there.
