One Mic, One Line mixer?

#1 Post by J_Dunavin »

Looking for the smallest option to get one mic, and one line or a stereo Jack even, mixed together with a line level out.
I’ve seen some really small mixing boards , but have no idea which one to choose.
Just looking for a small option to get signal into my Driverack without getting everything out. Like when I just want to turn on Pandora in the back yard for the kiddos.

Like this would be the bees knees, IF it had line out

Possible "outside the box" solution: Sum 2 inputs on the Driverack, one from your audio source and the other from a wireless mic receiver. Maybe? Can the driverack be set to sum 2 inputs?

Oooo I don’t think so, nor would plugging in a mic straight in work either.

Found this, just need to verify it will work without a laptop, since it’s USB based

For $30 more, you can get this one with more inputs....and probably better quality.

That does look nice.
Ugh I dunno trying to find a very small solution, like DI box small.

EDIT:
I did call and they said the USB MIX would work as a stand alone mixer. wouldn't need a computer, just a 5V power supply.

If price is a concern (it always is for me), you can likely find small analog mixers on eBay for less, especially if it's used. It'll be a crapshoot quality-wise.

Yes exactly!
That thing is cool… cool price tag too.

Ya ultimately some used thing would work too. I’ve been searching marketplace for ideas…

Those would all work for sure.

What do you guys think about this? As long as it’s active.
I could mount this IN my amp rack, then if I needed to all I have to do is plug in my phone or a mic and your ready roll.
