THT LP -- FINALLY!

#1 Post by nightfx »

I'll start by saying I'm not very good at wood working; this was by far the most challenging thing I've ever built out of wood.

It took way more time and curse words than I expected BUT it paid off; this thing is amazing.

I built this 34" wide which made de-warping a special event in itself :? but I learned so much and the 2nd one will probably take half the time!

Nice job! AND you got 'er done before the walls are even painted. That's commitment. Hat's off. 🥃

I've never heard anything like it; the depth, clarity and output is unreal... I'm using a Behringer nx3000d to push it and wow...

I've owned several SVS subs in the past and still have a PC-2000; I think price wise this ends up being the same with the amp but output wise the PC-2000 doesn't come close (it is really compact though). Having a dedicated room makes something this large possible and awesome :D

From some initial tests; I'm getting usable fq down to 13hz... I can't wait to have everything setup and hear some movies but with the 2.1 setup the music is chest crushing

After I built my 33" THT, my next build was a lil' 10" T18 I built for my sister. That was fun, it was so tiny and cute after wrestling with those 32" wide panels.
