Curved SLA depth
What's the minimum depth that the curved SLA center can go down to? I have a ultra short throw projector and the depth would need to be about 7 inches for it to not be in the picture.

Re: Curved SLA depth
Deep enough for the drivers to fit inside. That's going to be around 11 inches. If that causes it to be in the picture place it lower, or place the projector higher.

Re: Curved SLA depth
That would put the projector in front of the speaker. Would the straight SLA work for a center channel?

I'm not able to picture what you mean.

TK, did you edit your original post? I *thought* you originally asked about a rear center channel.Timekeeper17 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 10:37 am What's the minimum depth that the curved SLA center can go down to? No it's front center channel. The projector is an epson ls500. It sits just below the screen. I need something about 7-8 inches in depth for a center channel so it's not in the picture.
Re: Curved SLA depth
Your projector IS mounted to the ceiling, right? Are you wanting to mount the curved SLA above the screen?

I can see why this is a problematic configuration for the centre channel. But I guess my cure would be to build the SLA deeper, and then put the projector on top of it. Or put the SLA beside the projector. That shouldn't be so off-centre that it causes a real problem.

I can see why this was so confusing.....I've never seen a projector like that. I couldn't figure out what the problem was either until you posted the link.Rune Bivrin wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 1:02 pm https://epson.com/epiqvision-ultra-ls50 ... jection-tv
