18 Sound 15NTLW3500 suitable for omni 15?

Hi all! i was doing some speaker research and now im stuck with some questiongs so i hope you guys can help me out.
I came accross this relatively new woofer and it was praised for both bass and midbass clarity which is in theory exactly what an omni can benefit from, seeing as the HPF of the subwoofer kicks in at 400hz. As im not good with the technical jargon i was wondering if you guys have an opinion on the matter, for instance in contrast to the kappalite 3012lf. Also, i couldnt really deduct why the combined bass and midbass performance in this particualr speaker is so above par compared to others, maybe you do.
Here is a website with product sheet pdf on right side: https://www.eighteensound.it/en/product ... 15NTLW3500
And here a link to loudspeakerdatabase http://www.loudspeakerdatabase.com/18Sound/15NTLW3500.
18Sound makes a big deal in reducing thermal distortion and powercompression through their new technologies(https://www.eighteensound.it/en/technologies), can someone explain to this newbie what this means and how much is there to be gained by it, if any?
Thanks a bunch
Knd regards
