Table Tuba narrow version

#1 Post by JensToft91 »

Hi all.

Can I expect output at 20-30 hz with a table tuba, corner loaded, 11inch version (narrowest available), with the Day DCS 8"?

How does the width affect the sensitivity?

Yes, you will get output down that low, I suspect it will be about 3db les than shown here (top trace) viewtopic.php?f=12&t=953. However, it won't be as strong as a wide cab would be. The wider the cab the "more of" there will be.

Hmm! Doesn't look like much. I'm not listening to movies very loud anyway - so maybe I can use EQ to flatten the response. As far as I've understood there's more than enough SPL from this thing
