Hello
I am getting ready to build a o15tb. I've purchased the dayton plate amp as suggested by bill in the forums. Now I would like to know what changes I should make to the crossovers in order to use the 2 separate channels on the amp. Thanks in advance!

Kind regards

Tjebbe

The amp's lowest crossover is 1kHz, the crossover to the midrange is at 400Hz, so you can't use the high frequency amp for the midrange, only for the tweeter. The .45mH coil and 5.6uF capacitor are eliminated from the midrange filter. The high pass filter for the tweeter is eliminated, replaced by a 10uF capacitor. The crossover frequency to the tweeter is 2.5kHz, so that's what you use as the DSP setting.

The most important thing to know about that amp is that the high amp section has a built-in 1khz highpass.

I can't find any info in the crossover section of the plans about where the different drivers crossover, but I'm sure the only use for the high end of the amp will be the tweeter - regardless of whichever one you chose. You'll still have to build the lowpass and the bandpass.

Actually, I had to go look at the plans first to make sure I didn't say something wrong......wouldn't want another crossover fiasco on my hands.
