Nah, you let the cat out of the bag and starting confusing the issue with facts.....The magic is gone....

Damn....we are spoiled over here. I get stuff in 1-3 days with Amazon......2-5 days with FedX or UPS depending on where it comes from.....

I hate to say that things from China arrive faster... But then their shipments are sponsored by the country itself it appears...
Re: New Jack 112 build
Now where are the panel jig plans. Must be stored somewhere on an old Mac here... Cutting the tweeters seems like the most difficult part of the build.
Re: New Jack 112 build
I have a 60 tooth blade on my table saw (10" blade), should I get one with more teeth or an abrasive blade? I imagine if I cut too slow the plastic will melt, if I cut to fast it could break or am I wrong?

Re: New Jack 112 build
An abrasive blade does melt the plastic, leaving a ridge, but that ridge comes right off with just your fingers. A 60 tooth ten inch blade will probably cause chipping. 80 tooth is OK.
Re: New Jack 112 build
OK thanks Bill, I ordered an 80 tooth for plastics, still need to make the jig though...
Re: New Jack 112 build
I used whatever wood blade I had on mine but took it slow. Cut just fine but did leave edge like Bill said. Came off easy with a hobby knife.

Take your time getting the jig perfect.....it's worth it when you start to glue 'em together.

Many moons ago I built this jig.
Used it with a thin abrasive blade on a table saw:
