I just want to verify that the high pass crossover is the same for the 2, 4, and 6 tweeter options in the SLA Pro. Is that correct? Same circuit for all?
Thank you

Everyone seems to be out of the Dayton 4 ohm resistors. Is a 3.9 or 4.3ohm an option or should I just hunt down a 4ohm resistor?

Re: SLA Pro High pass crossover
Within 10% is fine. I would think a 3.9 was better than a 4.3 though, closer anyway.SethRocksYou wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 11:41 am Everyone seems to be out of the Dayton 4 ohm resistors. Is a 3.9 or 4.3ohm an option or should I just hunt down a 4ohm resistor?
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

Re: SLA Pro High pass crossover
4.3 is better, as the purpose of that resistor is to set the minimum impedance load the amp can see at very high frequencies, where the capacitive nature of piezos causes their impedance to be very low, approaching a dead short.Grant Bunter wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 3:15 pm Within 10% is fine.
