Phew, it almost slipped by me,but, it is still 2019 at the time of posting this. Anyway, wishing all a very good year in 2020.
Grant, I heard on the radio of the fires, and immediately thought of you and the other forum members down under. I am wishing everyone health and safety. Property loss is an absolute bummer but life is more important.Grant Bunter wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 2:04 am Well 2020 is already with us here in the Antipodes, and it's not off to a great start.
Our family property is in the middle of a unprecedented Aussie summer wildfire, and probably lost.
Awaiting more news on that.
Anyway, Happy New Year to the forum, may this year be prosperous and kind to you all![]()

Had a similar situation happen to us when we were stationed in Texas some years ago. Wildfires took half our property, about an acre and a half. Took with it my band practice space and RV covered parking. I sympathize and hope for the best.
Damn sorry to hear about that. But from the sounds of it the neighbors got the short end of the stick. Glad to hear you guys are alright.Grant Bunter wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 4:18 pmCheers.Bryan Cox wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 3:41 pm That's terrible news about the wildfires. Property is 1000 acres.
House is ok, sheds are gone, stock is ok. Paddocks burnt.
Neighbours lost stock and houses...
