OTop12s Wow

#1 Post by Rickwired »

Finally finished the build on some OT12s. They took longer than I expected (wanted them to look bad ass so finishing touches took a bit) but man was it worth it! Hooked the 4 of them up with my 2 - dual T30s and 2 - single T30s for a club night about 600 capacity.. everyone kept complementing the sound and comparing it to big clubs like audio in SF. The clarity is insane! I can’t wait to use them again.
Many of the industry people (that go out a lot) said it’s the best sound in our city and probably our whole Central Valley.
The night was a success and I know we are going to be getting a lot more traffic do to the sound system alone.

Here are a few pics of them. I didn’t take a pic of the completed speakers but you get the idea..

Get used to it, it never ends. I literally just finished a 40 act 2-day festival on my BFM system 2 hours ago. That's all I hear from the crowd and the bands. Every band said that it was the best sound they ever heard, not just in passing but would seek me out and find me to say that. I couldn't leave the board without someone coming up to me and asking about the speakers. Nice to hear but takes a long time to get anywhere in a crowd when your in a hurry .
Built:
17" width 10" driver Autotuba
2 x 29" width dual Lab12 Tuba60
6 x DR250 2510/asd1001
In progress:
2 x DR250 2510/asd1001
For best results, point the loud end of the array towards the audience
