I want a cab that can be used in different ways depending on the situation: as a small PA sub (bass, kick, and keys), or as a bass monitor on a bigger stage,
or stand-alone powered by a bass head for using in another band with no PA support.

Is this possible?

I have a powered mixer and run vocals, drum machine, bass and ukulele through a pair of Jack 12's and it sounds good. Though they wouldn't be loud enough for a large hall (large hall to me is an big Oktoberfest tent full of drunken fat guys yelling drinking songs), it does very well on my deck and in my garage playing for 20 drunken friends sitting on lawn chairs around my fire pit.
