More importantly, you must set the limiters properly to protect the drivers. 50 volts max coming out of the amp. And personally, I wouldn't let them get below 35hz regardless of the number of subs. Excursion kills drivers.

The 2 subs will be more than enough to run past those Mackies. V-plate 'em for extra db and place 'em correctly - you'll be just coasting.
