How do I prevent this from happening?

Good title, huh? Made you click on this post didn't I?
So I keep all my cabs in a climate controlled storage unit all with all my other pa gear. After some rearranging I noticed my least used cabs have some mold looking stuff growing on it. The floors are finished concrete and there's never been a sign of water or moisture. It's the ones sitting on the ground that haven't really been moved much. What can I safely use to get it off and how to keep it off?

I touched that cleaned spot to the right of the brace btw

Yikes!
I’m not sure if this is a solution, but I always stack my gear on some 2x4 runners. I figure it helps to get some air under it all and just in case there was any water. Which like you I’ve never had an issue with.

I like the idea behind #5 since it quite safe.
Like J_Dunavin pointed out, raise the cabs off of the floor. The concrete is always off-gassing water vapours.

500ppm sodium hypochlorite solution, neutral pH. Household bleach is usually around 5-6% NaOCl, so about 11ml of bleach to each liter of water. A splash of white vinegar will drop the pH and free up the chlorine, making it much more effective in blowing apart mold spores. Make it fresh each time, it's not stable to store for more than a day.

Auraco and Duratex. The inside mouth of the t24 is just flat black spray paint I believe but duratex on outside.
