Hey guys I've been looking for a. Table saw and came across this. https://sanantonio.craigslist.org/tls/d ... 85844.html
I know the saw alone is $599 new and extras are about $400 each

Is it worth itfor $725 with the extras?

Thanks
Oscar

I don't see it ...... I'd just buy a new one ....

Question is how often you'd use the router extension and whether it would be less of a pain to use if it was stand alone? You could always build a router table....free plans are all over the internet. Then you wouldn't have to sacrifice one tool to use the other when you are in the middle of a project.

If you have the room, I'd keep looking for an older, beefier table saw. While this is from my area's Craigslist, and hence not terribly useful - it does give an idea of what's out there...

This is $850 for a genuine Delta Unisaw with a high quality fence and a dust collector.

Thanks guys. The reason I was thinking of 2 in 1 was to save space to justify the purchase. I think I will wait for better deal. Thank you for the comments.

+1. I started with a $100 Delta saw with a 24" wide top, added a high end fence with 48" rails, made my own extensions from BB, with one incorporating the router table. The BB extensions are far more useful than metal, as I can screw stuff I'm working on to them instead of to a separate workbench, which for me is key, as my shop is too small to have a workbench.
