How well do you think these would work in a PA system?

Would there be any benefit? Do any bands use this to avoid using a stage snake?

I'd hate to rely on mini connectors in a PA situation, but it's doable.
Are you thinking about using them for delay speakers? The spec sheet says 20 meters - "light of sight" - whatever the hell that means. Maybe it's supposed to be line of sight, which would make more sense. In that case, you have to make sure the signal can't get interrupted by trees, people, birthday clowns, bears....
While it may be viable in a home theater situation, I'd be very leery of running that when you have to be sure it's going to work.

A $20 cable is a million times more reliable than a $15k wireless system.

I didn't have a specific application in mind, just wondering. Gear head dreaming.

And it may be ten million times better than a $58 wireless system.

Things like these work perfect in an empty room with nobody in them. Then 800 people show up 10 minutes before showtime and all 800 of their cell phones (which also operate at 2.4 Ghz) try and ping anything and everything wifi and the system fails just as the band walks on stage without any warning.

And that's one more reason why I HATE wireless mics and guitar rigs. Batteries die....static.....the very building you are in can have an effect on performance......hate 'em.

Excellent point.

Behringer seem to have got it right. Live with it. it's the future of mixing desks.
But switch off the other free WiFi in the venue.

This has nothing to do with Behringer or Pro Audio in general. The big boys are running Cat5, not wireless from FOH.

Only the control surface is wireless, all the audio still goes through wires and the desk still functions on auto-pilot if the signal is lost. The reliable sound operators still have a wired laptop to the box just in case, monitors and side fills in case the wireless IEM's go down, and a few wired mics off to the side in case the wireless mics go down and a few instrument cables ready to go in case the wireless on them goes down. Back up plans for their back up plans.
While wireless is a godsend for convenience, that $20 cable still beats it.
