3D Printed T48 Mini (AKA T9)

I hope this isn't against the rules and I'm in the right section.

I was bored and have access to a 3D printer, so I 3D printed a T48 for fun. It's roughly 19% of a normal size slim T48 and uses a Cambridge Soundworks 2.5" driver from a cube speaker with unknown specs. I used plexiglass for the side and access cover. All I had laying around was automotive RTV sealant, but I'll probably re-do it with epoxy or something more permanent.

If my numbers are right, the shortened horn length puts the tuning at around 160hz, so I guess it's more of a mid-bass cabinet now.

Anyway, here are the pics.

Nothing scientific on this test. Measurement mic is a foot away from the mouth sitting on the table.

Mount the driver on an IB and measure again to get a base line. :)

I actually have another one in a sealed enclosure, but I don't have it here at my house. I'll try to pull a measurement on it next week and post the results...for science.

No vertical mouth braces?!? It's gonna walk across your desk at anything more than 0.2 volts.... ;)

Kidding of course. Nice job! Looking forward to the first gig report. :hyper:

A bit of a stretch for them to market it as a subwoofer when it only goes down to 90hz....and that's probably -10db.
