Amplifiers for BFM cabinets

Hello guys!
I am looking to power some cabinets in my setup in the best way possible for max performance. I have 2x Omnitop212 loaded with Beta12a-2 drivers and 2x Dr250 loaded with Deltalite II 2510. How many watts can I put into the cabinets? The drivers in the 212's are of course in parallel, so at 4 ohms where as the DR250's are at 8 ohms. Help much appreciated! P.S. I am aiming to play the absolute loudest with the cabinets as humanly possible before breaking them. Also, it should of course not sound distorted and weird, but clear.
best regards,
Vesthardt

When the second condition begins to happen....turn it down. Then the first condition has been achieved.
Any amp with 500 watts at 4 ohms per side should achieve your goal.

So 500W for 1 OTop212 and 1 DR250?

If the amp delivers 500 watts at 4 ohms.....it will put out 300-350 at 8 ohms. Plenty for each application.

I limit my OT12s at 35V which is about the threshold of distortion. Which means I need about 150 watts minimum per cabinet. I run 4 cabinet on on one Peavey IPR1600 amp, 2 cabinets per channel. The amp is rated at 530w/ch at 4 ohms.

Out of curiosity, are you running the 212's with the DR250's together, like 1 of each per side?

The magic number for the displacement limit for 2510's in DR250's is 40V.
You will get distortion at that figure, but that's their displacement limit...

I have completely changed my setup now. I am selling my DR250's and my OTop212's. Instead I am building 2 J-arrays consisting of 4 omnitops per side.
So far I have 2 amplifiers giving out 2x300W in 4ohms each. Which means that with those 2 amps I will get a total of 150W per cabinet. How loud do you think they will go RMS in dB? the drivers are Delta pro-12A

Add 21db to the base SPL at 1w.
