My new "A" system in it's beginning phases... still lacking hardware and drivers.

Are those getting ribbons as well? (I don't see the "piezo cut-out).

Wow...it looks as if they're SLA Pros on steroids...those are 6" woofer cutouts, correct?

Are you planning on stacking (up to) 4 per side? That's one heck of an array!

The important questions are:

Are those old-school Par cans? And, if so, have they cooled off yet?? And, are we still using old-school par cans???

I'm still using par cans, especially with my generator powered gigs.
Having some load on helps settle the cycling of the genny motor somewhat.

One day I'll get with the latest technology.
I might even end up with a digital desk...

They're getting ribbons that we're importing directly from the OEM in china. Five ribbons per six 6.5s. The ribbons are wired in series. They're ~98db efficient with ~200w power handling each.

Yeah, they're PAR64s. They actually belong to a guy who rents space from me, but all my lights are conventionals. LED doesn't work well for video. Most of the time if I'm doing lights, I'm also doing anywhere between one and seven cameras.

We do use 600w DYS raylight reflectors in the 64s instead of standard pars. Much more efficient and less heat.

Yes, they're 6.5s. Dayton PA-165 (already in stock, just waiting on the ribbons and hardware). These will be mine, a colleague has two rigs with this cab. One with 4 per side, one with 3 per side. Two is all I'll need usually, and my fly towers are engineered for 3. They'll usually be split up into four towers of 2, so I can do a venue that has indoor and outdoor seating, or have delay stacks. Two per side get loud. Four per side....
