The final resting place of the DR200s with Ribbons

The time has come that I've outgrown my DRs. Big things in the works to replace them, but they'll make sweet sound for a really great church for years to come.

Everyone rest assured, they're flown properly with rigging designed by a qualified engineer.

My thoughts....

This rig sounds way better flown that it ever did on speaker stands. It's really too bad that proper flying towers are so expensive. Guess I need to talk to my engineer friend.

The new Driverack PA2 is way better than the old ones.

The Qu-32 is an awesome sounding mixer.

I have a happy client.

It will work fine. Auto EQ is faster on this one than the earlier models.

Nice. We've got the best sounding church system in this, and the surrounding counties; If we could JUST get a 'sound person' who could utilize it to it's BF potential......ARGHHH
DR250s x 4 + Two 27" T39s.
We've had a couple of 'half big name bands' play and guess what? they had to put the tops underneath the subs on each side up front.....looks good, too much bottom on stage volume with corner loading at 200Hz LOL; the subs are cut off at 100 Hz.......ahhhhh, don't get me goin' on 'sound persons'. I was good this weekend. Kept my mouth shut, let the bass player play all the wrong notes, (the one who said "I don't need anyone to tell me how to play bass") While I was warming up I was playing the riff from 'Free Ride', EdgarWinter version and he said yea, I played with the Doobie Bros. in '84....OMG!
