Virgin build

After browsing the forums for months I decided to buy all the plans and try to build everything on the cd. The USPS works slow in Niederwald TX, so after waiting almost two weeks, the entire time my wife insisting that I'd been "Fitzmauriced" and nothing would show up, the brown paper envelope finally came!
So here we go my first of many builds *1-15" T24 loaded with a BP 102. I will most definitely start building the second one after I botch the first one

Good to see another Texan. You aren't very far away from me.
If you want to check out any of my cabs, you are welcome to give 'em a listen.
Welcome aboard.

You really should take Bruce up on his offer, Jake. Go have a listen. It helps, a lot.

Nobody builds 'em anymore....just go to a Star Trek convention - they are all over the place.

OK an update. I decided to go 24" wide and have installed to panel 2. I am resizing pictures and will post later today.

I have a f*ckton of pictures I need to resize in PS and post.
In anticipation of the driver showing up, I dry fit up to panel 5. The driver was delivered this afternoon and I immediately started to break it in and leave it overnight. I will cut the baffle and start building again on Monday. Right now I have it running 25hz @ 7v because that's all my little 100w TK2050 Class T can do without clipping. I know I know I know it says in the plans

"run @ 8-10v for 12 hours", but will 7-7.1v do the trick as well?

Hey Bruce. If I'm ever in you neck of of the woods, I may take you up on that offer, if you don't mind.

Anytime. More than likely, I'll have the whole rig out every Thursday this summer. But, you are welcome to come by and we can pull out some stuff and make a little noise.

Ok I'm back! After starting this build life got crazy hectic

. I would browse the forums almost on a daily basis and was inspired by CosmicTech to pull out the half done box I stopped building in January and finish it up!

First two panels I was

It was AWESOME!

This is where I stopped in January

Fire it back up Thanks CosmicTech!

Just need to trim panel 7 back and install my 4 pole! The picture is deceiving, the braces are square I swear!

nice!
Don't forget to leak check and put all the proper limitations in place before you go and crank that to 11
PS the 2nd one with a V plate make a huge difference as well.

Speaker wire is sealed up and I'm leak free! Honestly, I might just stick this guy in the back of my suburban and start working on 2-16" T30's. I still have an old 65' Deluxe Reverb that the cab is completely shot but the amp is still good, time to build an X cab.
