It 'claims' 440W X 4 @ 8Ω

I'm looking to run my tops, two OTop 112s w/ 3012HOs on two channels (stereo) and have two other channels for monitors. Subs, so far, are two 20" T39s - two more in the works - and run off an IPR 3000.

It works. I put one in an install recently and I was pleasantly surprised. It clips super nasty (typical Behringer amp) but up until clip it's decent.

This is not an endorsement of the amp or company... just an observation. :) As with all things Behringer (and other cheap Chinese brands), it should be treated as a disposable purchase. Expect the warranty period and no longer.

thanks Brent. Do you think it'll clip before it reaches my OTops potential? 440W @ 8 ohms per channel; so, say, half that 220 realistically (Behringer specs evaluated) , should be about right? I'm not looking for max SPL, just good quality.

They'll work fine for that. I limited them with the X32 output limiters just below clipping and they sound fine, even on sub duty at 4 ohms. No real reason to limit to 1/2 PE of the drivers unless you just want to... they'll complain before they're damaged.

The Nu4-6000 is hard to beat for the price, but I still prefer the IPRs.
