Built a box based off WinISD

So I've been bored and have lots of wood scraps lying around. I decided to bang out a sealed box for my car's 10" (which is/was sealed too) based off the results from WinISD. This is the first time using it, so I don't know exactly what everything does. I mainly used the box calculator based off the T/S specs. A 4th-order box would be too big, so I went sealed again. I had to reshape it to fit my trunk and used sketchup and some math to get the same volume but still fit in my car. It's a slant-back to utilize the angle of the back seats. I cross-braced it and put filling inside (which old box doesn't have).

Here's the graphs of before and after:
Original box:

New box:

From what I understand, the new bigger box is worse. I did a short road test and it hits good on song with strong bass, but others it seems "flat" and not as "punchy". I think the passband is wonky and I need to adjust my eq and crossover. I didn't change any settings during the test.

Those aren't SPL charts.

I know, but I can't find the SPL for this sub. All I got is Gain, Phase Plot, and Group delay.

Might want to post a screencap of the whole working environment on WinISD because to me that looks alot like the phase plot. (don't know your version) My WinISD has two plots that show se sensitivity curve of which I can model my designs. But normally bigger boxes will allow it to go lower with a decrease on the overall sensitivity on the passband.

That's because you're using the Beta version of WinISD, which is almost useless.

I downloaded the "alpha" version. I have SPL now, but it only allow a certain number of parameters for a driver. Also the box calculator doesn't work in this version. I'll keep playing with it till I get something useful.

Do you have the latest version of the beta? I have that one it gives me both, gain and spl. I got the pro(alpha) and still very buggy so I'm still modeling on the beta version.

You're doing something wrong, it not only 'allows' for all of the pertinent parameters, but will calculate on its own any that you don't enter.

I've decided to scrap the new box and go back with my original box that worked just fine for my car's setup. This was all for fun to squeeze a bit more outta the driver and save a few pounds (a whopping 3lbs! :fruit: ). I got tired of messing with it.

I still don't get how you're not getting all the tabs. What would be the point of the whole program if only shows group delay or phase? Even for my dual ported sub simulation I used the beta version.

I really don't know. I've messed with it to my wit's end.
