Hey all,

I got a chance to use my church band's StudioLive 32.4.2 AI via ipad on the stage this evening. I've only dabbled at the mixer a few occasions for just minutes each time, and tonight was the first time I'd ever seen or touched the ipad interface. Very intuitive. Had control of what I needed in minutes. We run five auxes for stage monitors and we all LOVED IT...very nice. Just figured I'd share that good experience.

the StudioLive 32 is pretty nice....

I like the Behringer X32 better, because it has a stagebox. A friend of mine use it for their band, supposedly with MIDAS preamps....and the IPAD interface is great.

I could live with the new rackmount version of the studiolive, but I absolutely loathe using the Studiolive desks with the ipad and trying to move back and forth between the two. Realistically it's an either or proposition since they didn't bother with motorized faders. In the middle of a show I don't have time to screw around with locating the actual position of the faders on the desk.

For the money I'll take an X32, Soundcraft or QU series desk anyday.

I use 2 different Presonus mixers the 16.4.2 and a 24.4.2 also I use the X32.
I set the Presonus mixer to locate so as when I use the ipad I can see where I adjusted the faders.
The X32 is a good mixer, and it does have Midas Pre's and Klark eq's. The ipad app hasn't been updated yet for
the latest upadate yet. But there is a app you can run from your phone a programmer made.
I also run Waves Multirack on all 3 boards, and that takes everything to a whole new level, I love the C6
