				Finished! Here's a detail of the clamps and the lawn mower nuts. (thanks mr. Weldy)
I was worried that there wouldn't be enough 'play' for the clamps to tighten down but it's not a problem. Used dremel to square out the hole slightly so the carrige bolt would stay in place, might give it a dab of glue to keep it there.
