Amp for Subs with Dual 15s

I just ordered some new drivers for some BFM boxes I scored on craigslist recently which are apparently massive Tuba 24s. Going into each box is going to be 2 each of Eminence 3015LFs. These are rated at 450w @ 8 ohms. But because I have two of them in each box the load going to each box will be 900w @ 4ohms. Is that correct? So I would need an amplifier that produces at least 900w @ 4ohms on each channel? Does it matter if the amp can supply more power than that? I understand that I need to set voltage limits. What would the voltage limit be for these speakers?

My T24 plans are not the latest, but mine have 10" drivers only listed as recommendations.
I understand the 3010lf has been added to the list, but while I might expect a possible upgrade to 12"s, no way would I expect 15"s to suddenly be ok.
Something doesn't sound right.
The 3015lf is listed as being appropriate for a T48 and can be dual loaded with the 3015lf, limited to 60V (or as you put it 900W/4ohms if parallel wired internally).
I'm not sure if this helps.
You need to work out what the cabs are and have them on hand before you order anything...

T24 takes a 10" driver. No larger. Per the plans.

the only "tuba" that takes the 3015lf is the now discontinued t36

Yep. So you guys are correct. I was wrong. It was identified as a Tuba 36.
http://billfitzmaurice.info/forum/viewt ... =7&t=20317 here is the thread where I discussed them first here. I got a sweet deal on the boxes but needed to acquire my own drivers. They are on the way. Just need an amp to drive them but not sure what to get here but realize there is more to it than just watts in the driver and watts on the output which is why I am asking.
If it was just one speaker in there it would be easy. But now with two drivers im not so sure what I need to drive it with. Do I need 900w @ 8 ohms or 900w @ 4 ohms with the subs wired in series.

Don't wire in series - that would be 16 ohms.
Parallel would be 4 ohms.

This is the quote from Radian in the other thread to show why tuna was going to series the drivers. Perhaps Radian will give his reasoning.

The question is which ones.

Those are T36. Big ones too, at their full design width.
Original owner probably loaded them with Magnum HO's instead of LF's and low passed them at 80Hz.
Snagg'em up, series load'em with 3015LF's and low pass them at ~45 Hz using a 12-18 dB / oct Butterworth.
