Stoopid Ebay.

I just won this Peavey IPR 1600 on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/A-Very-Nice-Pea ... 7675.l2557

The problem here is another bidder (k***2) bid it up in small increments until he was the winning bid. Then right before the auction ended, k***2 retracted his final bid, so I end up winning it at $164.50 on my $165 maximum bid. All of k***2's other bids still are there. So I call the seller out on his "shill bidding" and told him to retract ALL of k***2's bids to reduce the price to $147 and I would happily pay. Also, k***2 has bid on 21% of the sellers sales in the last 30 days. Of course the seller knows nothing about it, then says he is cancelling the auction since he doesn't deal with paranoid people. I have to okay the cancelling of the sale however, or I think I can force him to make the sale.

Sorry if I am airing dirty laundry here, just pissed off.

So should I file a complaint with ebay re: his shill bidding?

file a complaint , the main reason is to protect yourself from the guy saying your a bad buyer that refused to pay .

Screen shots, saved email, etc. This seller will relist, then you report him.

BTW - approve the cancellation and move on. Life will live him like he lives life. He'll get his payback - doesn't HAVE to be from you, but you can certainly guide the way.

Also, I don't think I would "make" the seller complete the sale (unless it was one of a kind, maybe). Not worth doing business with someone like that.

I just got a Eden WTX500 off the bay. Love it! BUT, misrepresented, somewhat - there was no power plug. Granted, he didn't say it was "complete" but he didn't say the plug was missing. That's just irritating. Can't leave negative feedback because it works as stated. It just didn't work when I pulled it out of the box because there was no plug. So, he gets no feedback from me. I call this a push. He got paid, I got the head, I've moved on. . . no regrets.
