Jack 12 Lites - pair in PA configuration

Here's the videos I made today after finishing my build.

The first video is the set up. I shouldn't have accepted Youtube's desire to 'steady my video' - hopefully it's finished processing now. Video camera is too close to cabs. This is a great artist though - Michel Camilo.

EDIT: The original video glitches at about 1 minute in, and struggles to just about match up the sound after. Apologies.

This is a video of it slightly cranked in the back garden - that's why I'm rushing around, trying to hurry so I can go turn it down. LOL. There's a brief shot of the amalgam tape used for strain relief on the speakons - works well, and bulks out quickly with few turns. I turned down Youtube's offer of tossing around on this one so it should play no probs.

Best,

Charles

Charles,
For me, the first vid totally dropped sound after the glitch

The second sounds great, clear, what we expect from Bill's designs. They look awesome mate.
I especially like the young girl walking around with her hands over her ears, and the pleasantly surprised looks on the people sitting down in the chairs at the other end of the table.

Your labours have delivered their rewards...

You made it, Charles! Yup, you made it to the finish line. And, you, not someone else, made the awesome sounding cabs.
Enjoy!

Hey Charles

They look and sound great.
Glad to see another member also using "synq" amps.

Thanks guys!

Yea Grant. It was the video camera that glitched at 58 seconds. The copy on my laptop manages to recover the audio when played through VLC media player, but not when streamed through youtube - I cancelled the youtube stabilization and it still glitches. Anyway, I rambled on about not very much, and the audio wasn't great cos the camera is too close to the cabs. The most important thing is someone has put the track I was playing on (yes!) youtube, and the audio is better. Inspirational keys, bass and drums, the latter courtesy of Dave Weckl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCVRlr6Q1DQ

Pulse, I took the Synq plunge after your reviews and bringing them to my awareness. Looking forward to running 1 or 2 T30's on one channel and the Jack's on the other. Re: the T30's, I would probably just get an extra amp before running 2-off at 4 ohms nominal total, to be safe.
