Very cool. Those Infinity's will work just fine; the specs are close enough. Just be sure to use PL adhesive to assemble the cab. The only rule you cannot break with horn-loaded cabs is they must be absolutely air-tight. Keep the vids and/or pics coming!

Those are sweet looking drivers....too bad you will never see them again. Although you will know they are there. What speakers are you mating these with?

Right now I've got HT in a box type speakers (long story, got divorced last year), but these are only temporary. I plan on some kind of diy build, I've been doing a lot of surfing over at parts express, but am not set on anything yet. All of the speakers/subs from my last HT were store bought, it was crazy loud, but I'm going all diy this time around, and I know this system will smoke my last one.
Nothing new to report on the tuba build at this point, I'm pre cutting all the wood right now, and hopefully I'll be starting assembly in the next day or two. I've got a three day weekend coming up and I'm going to focus on these subs. I'll keep the vids coming..

Why not some TLAH and SLA? You could do a pair of 9 driver TLAH, a center channel curved 9 driver SLA and 2 driver loaded "SLA" for surrounds. Simple, inexpensive and lethal.

I second DJP's idea. The gauntlet has been thrown down!

Being that you no longer have an Anti-Technology-Filter (aka wife) to deal with, a big, honkin' HT should not be an issue. I am green with jealousy. Let me live vicariously through you!

Ha! Funny you say that, miked, I'm now engaged again. So, I guess I'm just replacing the filter? LOL. She's really cool about this, and likes that I have a hobby/project that I'm passionate about. I don't know that she's ever heard a good HT, so I don't think she really knows what she's gotten herself into! She has agreed to let me transform our living area into a HT, so I think I got a good one!
Subharmonic, I'll be 10' - 12' from the fronts.

Looking good! These drivers are excellent.
Word to the wise - the gaskets on those drivers are in 4 pieces.... and in my experience they leak... in all 4 places! WTF? Ridiculous idea.
You'll (more than likely)need to seal the gasket gaps to prevent leaks.

Thanks Ian, I do plan on caulking all the way around them, I noticed the spacers too.
