I have a Pioneer DDJ-SX Controller and want to play from 4 1x12 T60, 6 dual T60 & 12 DR 280's. I am wondering what the right Mixer, Processor, and Limiter are for me if price would be not be a factor. I've posted a in a few forums this morning, I apologize if I am redundant and seem lazy, chalk it it to inexperience.

Thank you,
T.

first off, what you using to power that stack? and what outlet you hooking it up to? :noob:

mixer, processor and limiter are some of the last things I'd be worrying about when considering a rig of that size. First thing is where the hell am I gonna store it. How am I gonna get it to the place to play music, How am I going to supply enough power for it, how am I going to insure that it doesnt topple over/how am I going to set it up. If one can adequatly supply all those answers easily enough... it should be a breeze to figure out the rest.

EDIT

it would probably also be easier if you just made this into 1 post in the Pro sound section. basically title it "I want to use 10 T60s and 12 Dr280s, help get me pointed in the right direction".

Good questions, I don't know the answer to them. I saw that this was done before, however:

So, I would like to know how they did this, so I can do this do this, too (if I can).

the rig you propose is of pretttttty large scale. aka, 5000 Plus people. do you have a market for a rig of such porportions? do you have at least 10 people to help you in the operation and setup of said system (you cant do all the lifting yourself)?

No, but it's worth to dream ... kind of like the field of dreams: "if you build it ..."

As for building "it? and the market, this is a long term project and certainly doesn't have to be done right away. Surely, friends will come my way.

I must admit, though, that I thought this system was for 1000+, not 5000+ ... I think it's neat though. Living in Toronto, there might be a need for this, eventually ... again.
