I'm closing in on my nightclub opening, just have a few more loops to jump through.. I figured I'd get started on the speakers while I have time and so I can can be ready for my (fingers crossed) August opening.. My main dance floor will have 12 T60's and 8 DR280's and the 2 other dance floors will have 2 T60 and 2DR's each..
First things first I had to get my woodshop set up since my old one got taken from me due to a divorce.. I had some extra space at my motorcycle shop so I set up..

So far I started the jigging process so I can duplicate these easily.. These Are for the T60, until I pull the trigger on a CNC router, I made this manual jig that seems to work great!
and it spits these out quite effortless..
Tomorrow I'll get the 54* jig mad as well..

I would pay to have an awesome template like that, I bet it makes assembly a breeze (after making the jig). Those notches are gorgeous, look forward to seeing this build.
Night club pics when you have them would be awesome as well!

It took me a full day to make the jigs but it was worth it.. I can duplicate these quick, probably quicker than a CNC lol..

I am kind of worrying for you that the panels will not line up with the rabbett on the 2nd side when you go to put it on. Hopefully you can build more square and perpendicular than I. I'm a bit "off" usually (and so are my builds

)
You are undertaking a big honkin' (horns-- get it?) project building that many cabs! Keep at it and you will be extremely proud of the results.

OMG I had a dream a few nights ago about that.. Luckily my saw are squared I'm very anal about that. I spent about 3 hrs squaring my slider and its fence.. The jig serves well to help align the panels so the 2nd side should fit with a little finagling.. As I install each panel ill check it against the jig.
I said to my self that I wouldnt get ahead of myself and I would get all the cuts done for all the cabs and do an assembly line type build but I think I will put the first 2 together just so I can hear them.. Especially since these came in

I'm excited for you!
I recommend doing one T60 first to get all the wrinkles out of the process. Then find some random tops, stick the T60 in a corner somewhere and turn it into a make shift work bench.
You are going to spend HOURS, DAYS, WEEKS in the workshop. Listen while you work and tweak as you go. By the time you are done building you'll have a lovely eq curve to use as a basis for the club!

If the second side doesnt fit after construction, you can always use it as side on for sub 2.

Nice jig and shop.
The last panel is a bitch when it is routed. Did my first T39 like that. Used a rubber hammer and plenty of lube....I mean PL.

This thread certainly has the potential to be one of the most Epic Build Threads ever! NICE shop. I don't know what I'm drooling over more; the panel saw or the Grizzly sliding table saw! Good luck and please keep the pics coming!
