So I got home yesterday and there was my new puppy
JBL GTO804, I am breaking it in as we speak, 10v and 25.52 hz.
I will probably build it from MDF seeing that is way cheaper here.
Pictures will come when I start the build, and that should be monday.

Let me be the first to tell you to use good 1/2 " plywood. Its just not wort it to use mdf.

Why would you want to spend hours and hours of work, a bunch of money on driver, nuts, bolts, screws, glue, gasket, paint etc, and then buy a crappy material to save a few bucks? A sheet of MDF is usually around 180dkk and radiata pine ply is around 300 and superior in almost every way.. That saves you 200-250dkk on 2 sheets - around 35$.

This is really good advice. Take a minute and run the numbers that he gave you. You will spend many, many hours of your time on this build (and working with MDF will increase that time). The difference in the price of ply vs. MDF is small considering what you will spend on everything else.

I Can get The MDF for 130dkk. Cheapest I've been able to find plywood, and that was Asian, was 320dkk.
Is the Asian ok to build from, or what is the problem with that?

The plans don't stafe the reason as to why the Asian ply is bad, does anyone know why it is bad?
Or is it not bad but just not as good as birch.
The reason for me going with the MDF is that the plans said to not use Asian.
And the plans said it was ok to use MDf.

One reason is because asian birch has a thin veneer that will easily chip off. In other words not all the plies are full width plies.

You'll be fine. MDF is heavy and produces a lot of fine dust, but on the other hand it doesn't warp and is much easier to get a furniture class finish on.

The dust may be an issue, so wearing a mask is recommended, but for one-off builds I doubt it's a particularly significant health concern.

I actually went with the Radiata pine, seeing it would be easier to work with.
Well, atleast when it comes to screwing it together.

You will be glueing it together, I hope!

Screwing is just to hold the panel together while the glue cures.

I've calcuted 1" to be 2,5cm isthis wrong?
