Bad Dayton SA100 Amp?

So I bought a Dayton SA100 for my newly finished T18. I was breaking in the driver with that amp and a tone generator. It initially had a clean tone at 30-40 hz, but quickly developed a buzz. This is only at 2V or so, I never got it near the 10V recommended in the instructions. I figured it was the driver, so I tested it with another power amp and different tone generator. Sounded clean again. So it must be the amp, right? Strange though, what kind of amp buzzes? I'm still within the amazon return window, so I'm thinking the obvious answer is to send it back. Just wanted to double check here.

If that amp started buzzing and another one wasn't, most likely the amp is bad as you have worked out. Send it back, get it replaced.

For reference, the replacement amp works. I love my finished T18.
