Forgot to photgraph at the beginning of the thread but here's one of two J112 lites with 3012HO and 16 melded array switchable piezos.

Italian Poplar

Weight 11.5 kg ( 26.8 lbs )

I must say this was a mission that never seemed to want to end. When I get another order I'll go CN and finish my construction/assembly jigs.

Anyhow, fired them up today and they sound just like I expectd - a great bass cab.

Image
Front on - camera angle makes the side look like they are bowing - they're not. Also the inside is pitch black, not grey

Another back view

The back panel - and yes, before you point it out I've alreay fixed my woofer filter to go the right way :wall:

Image
Speakon connectors and 3 way piezo switch in between.

Image
I bcaked up the inside where the corners will go and routed to accept large corners ( I hate the small ones )

Image
Also backed up one side for where the handle goes so it accepts 15mm screws. Yes...one handle only per cab

I'm a happy camper but I have to cut the build time to at least 1/3 what it took me to make it commercially viable.

The first one always takes a lot longer. The first Lites I did were two J10Ls, so when I did the J12L I knew what I was doing and it didn't take more than an hour or so longer than a standard J12.

Nice cabs Harley, but I can't help but feel that the speakon and switch sockets should have a small chamfer or bevel.

Good point Chris. I had made the holes for round flange mount Speakons, then discovered I only had square ones :wall:
