I have the 2x4 unbalanced model and love it. I'm using mine for a crossover and EQ on a TT and T18. I use the time delay function to delay the output of the T18 to pair with the TT.

It's a great device and the software is very easy to use. The only thing I'd like to see added is a limiter, but I can't complain for the price.

Thumbs up from me also. Great little toy. I use the 2.1 Way Crossover Adv plugin for 2 SLA's and a THTLP. (the plug in is named "2way Crossover ADV 2.1" in the linked pdf but "2.1 Way Crossover Adv" when you actually get it.

You can adjust loads of things including delay on each of the outputs but on my model the max delay is only 7.5ms, which equates to 2.58 meters. You can also invert each output which comes in handy.

You can export from REW to various parametric filters in the miniDSP, but for the life of me I haven't actually figured this bit out yet.

There's a 12v circuit board available to make it play nice in a car.

The cross over section is great because it has different filters / db slopes... so you get a visual representation of, say what a butterworth versus bessel slope looks like.

Bit of a learning curve and the company sucks to deal with... Takes 2 weeks to arrive. As far as I know you have to purchase directly from Hong Kong, unless anyone can correct me??

There are various versions balanced, unbalanced. May in's, many outs.

Use mine to EQ the TT.

Very handy piece of kit....just don't like the fact I need a laptop and Adobe AIR to program it, but the UI is very intuitive and the filters work as advertised.

10 years from now, if my 'puter and Adobe go TU, it'll be weird looking little paper weight.

I would recommend this and an rta mic over almost anything else (ie building bigger subs, bass traps, multiple subs, different mains, etc.)

Before i got the minidsp i was never completely happy my system. After i got it and set it up, it completely changed it in a good way. No more blaring lowmids, peaky bass, and my biggest gripe, REALLY flabby bass.

The combination of price, size, features, and ease of use (easy user interface, usb-powered) make the this an amazing value all around.

As for the rta mic, add it to the REW software, play around with it and get your system sound PERFECT! Did i mention that the minidsp fixed my super slim TT and now it's within 1db all way down to 30?
