What are you using for Amp rack AC feed cable?

I'm building an AC distro for my little rig, and I'm sitting on the fence as to how I'm going to power up my amp racks. In the past, these were generally fed 2) 120V 30A circuits via Twist Lock connectors, and from there broke out inside the rack to a number of 20A Edison receptacles to plug the amps into. 1) 30A circuit would generally feed 2 or 3 power amps.
I'm just looking for ideas if there is a better way to do this.

That's the way we'd do it on a portable rig.

I guess I'll keep with the twist locks.
I found some relatively easy to use CAD software for a very reasonable price. I can design my own chassis and panels now. After, I send the drawing to a local metal fabricator, and they cut all the holes with a laser cutter; it does a really nice job. My first project was the AC Distro panel. I'll post some photos once I get it loaded.

CadStd by Apperson.

You can download a demo version, the full Pro version was around $37.00 USD.
I tried some others, but the learning curve was pretty steep and the prices equally as steep; I wanted something I could get results on in a short time. It took an afternoon to learn enough in order to accomplish my project. Since then, I've also designed a new enclosure and panel for the stage end of my snake.

I've been using one 30 amp 240 volt outlet to one distribution box to drop the voltage so

we have 60 amps be
tween 8 outlets.
