DJ Kool likes BFM...

But I hate DJ Kool.
A promoter at my club asked about renting my sound for Kool (the Let Me Clear My Throat guy) I thought that would be cool, so I agreed. First strike against him, him and his his entourage didn't show up until after they were supposed to start. Luckily I had brought my laptop so I played some background music till they got there and setup. Almost an hour late, they finally started, and BTW each one of his group was a complete douchebag... Second Strike.
After an hour or so, Kool started playing, but there was nobody there. Literally. I asked him about doing a quick DJ battle with me, just for fun. This pious SOB told me I wasn't ready to battle him. Are you serious? All he did was slam tracks the whole time he played, no mixing at all. BPMs were off, and when he tried blending two songs, the whole thing turned into a trainwreck, and he jumped on the mic and started BSing. And I'm not ready?
Then his personal bouncers I guess thought I was in his way, so they kicked me out of the booth. I told them if they mess with me anymore, I will kill the sound and he's done. All the sound and lighting was mine, so don't mess with me. They got quiet after that.
Then they asked me if I could run sound for them again on May 12th, I told them I was going out of town that weekend, so no.
Is someone really so insecure about themselves they don't want to have a little fun? And BTW, I am better than he is.
Just had to vent a little.
