Hi Fester

I don't know this product so I can't comment.
My opinion, wait a bit longer till you can afford it and get the DCX2496 and it's brother the DEQ2496 soon after.
Together these two pieces of equipment are the "best bang for buck combos" out there.

I'm sure lots of other members on this forum will agree with me.

Jose

I'm using one of those. I can't compare with the DCX2496, but it does all I ask of it. Nothing fancy, and requiring a serial port for computer editing is a bit antiquated. But that's really not necessary unless you want to be able to save and load banks of settings.

I´ve installed one of those in a bar, still working without any problems at all after half a year or so. But, I couldnt really get to grips with the limiter, didnt get it to actually limit the signal properly, the outsignal kept rising if I gave it more insignal, even if it only changed slightly it didnt stay at constant level when the limiter engaged, but I didnt had time to fiddle with it, maybe I did something wrong.

I do prefer my DCX 2496, that limiter is great:) I recently bought a used dbx driverack 260, so gonna use that in my A-rig now:) maybe I can do a better comparison of those three processors one day :P
