greetings. i dont get it? how do i view new updates through this sketch up model thing? i guess i'm supposto know or could spend an hour or two dinging with it? no offense intended to anyone by the way. just wish i could click the update and see the info
like it use to be.
wish i knew a 12 year old kid, lives at home, no job, parents buy them everything, time up the wazoo, who could tutor me through all this stuff. everything is download this, download that. i obviously am not too computer smart.
most digital and new products are more and more invovled and depthy and sophisticated, targeting kids who need the newest therefore " best", so on. constant changes added to impress and entice young kids who have time time time and who network to share ideas and learn from each other. i am busy and dont wanna "keep up" with the new flavor of the minute. i have a life beyond sitting in a chair at a computer. the next company adds 50 more useless options or colors just to claim their product is bigger and better. kids like tons of content.
RANT - years ago when i first saw an MTV video i hated them, still do, and realized that the youthful music buyers have an attention span of 1/2 a second. most videos are stupid short crappy movies, expensive to make, and if they did that video tactic to sinatra or elvis, the MUSIC LOVING intelligent audiences back then would be pissed. the video starts, the song is playing- one second it shows elvis signing an autograph, the next second it's a bird on a branch in a park, then it's a space ship with guitars hanging windows, then it's elvis in a hot air balloon for a split second again. . . the distractions are there cause true talent and charisma isnt. cookie cutter blond bimbos in every new country video, so on. i'm gonna eat my gun. got a little side tracked eh? personal; rant - music videos.
back to sketchup - actually, it's better for me to pop $29 and get a new CD update vs ruin my day fighting with this if an easy answer isnt posted. where did i put the 45 caliber, time to eat.
