Best Amp Choice for 4 x T48
So after much "I will build more when I have time" debate with myself, I have finally decided that this fall/winter project will be taking my system to the next level. I currently run 2 x T48s on a Behringer EP2500, which I have been pleased with but want to add 2 more 48s. The plan is to move the Behringer to another set of tops (more than likely 4 x OT 12s) and upgrade the amp on subs. Open for ideas here so thank you in advance for the help, and thanks to Bill for sharing his knowledge with us and helping us to be a cut above the rest!

if you are currently running 2 T48s on the behringer, with one per side, you should be able just add a second set in parallel on each side.

Re: Best Amp Choice for 4 x T48
I always find "best" is relative to how much I can spend and how mission critical the unit is to me. The best amp is no good to me if I can't afford it. The one I can easily afford is not much good if I haven't got a backup for the once a year breakdown.
If I hadn't lucked into a cheap XTi deal I would have been going down the EP2500 and dcx2496 road. The rep on those particular Behringer units is very good.
Since you must already have a processor you can get off with a simple amp but it wouldn't hurt to get one of those closeout XTi amps to give you backup in case your processor burned up.

Grab an XTI2000 before they are all gone. They are cheap right now.

I appreciate the feedback! Thank you for the help. I am sure I will have plenty more questions over the next few months as I grow.
