recommendations for a 15" speaker for sealed bass-guitar cab

Any recommendations for a speaker for a 1x15" cab for bass-guitar which is going to be a sealed one ??
A friend suggested an Eminence Kappalite 3015LF. Plus he suggested making the cab rear-ported with the option to stuff (seal) this single round port as needed. Is the Kappalite 3015LF a good choice for this?
EBP=90, Qts=0,46, fs=44Hz, Vas=150.9 liters / 5.3 cu.ft.

To understand my question thoroughly: my overall plan is the following stereo-rig:
have 2 of these 115 cabs (stacked) and 2 small extra cabs (left & right) each containing a 6", with 3 switchable crossover frequencies. (The stereo fx I use are mainly in the mid-highs, I leave the bottom bass untouched.)
The more detailed question is:
Is it a good idea to design a flexible ported/sealed cab or will I end up with neither meat nor fish? The sealed option is my preference and if someone can name an efficient 15" for this I would also be sure that this would meet my sound- and volume-needs.
Most of the 15" speakers seem to be designed for ported cabs. Who makes speakers for sealed cabs that are not too inefficient?
A suggestion for the 6" is an Eminence ALPHA-6A.

Other/better options for the mid-high application?
Thanks a lot for your recommendations!!!

3015lf is not recommended by the manufacturer for sealed cabs , perhaps youll need a driver sitable for both sealed and ported cabs and even that a jack 15 will be a nicer and louder sounding cab

If you want to build two 15" sealed cabs and then extras for mids and tweeters, why not build two Omni 15 cabs... they can use the 3015LF and the Alpha 6, as well as one of several tweeters IIRC. You will get more volume and better sound than what you propose, and it doubles as a PA.

that's my question: what is a 15" suitable for as well ported as sealed application, ideally working fine in one and the same cab volume? (the 3015 has an EBP of 90 and some people propose that EBP's of 50 to 100 work ok for sealed as well as ported.)

sorry: a jack 15 is what ?
thx!

Btw, linearity in the mids is not so much an issue fpr me, in the bass-department it is!
I want the left and right 6"-satellites be rather separated some meters (for impressive stereo-effect) and the two 115 cabs be stacked in the middle (for no loss in bass thump), just behind me. I already played with two slightly separeted fullrange-cabs and the loss in bass is tremendous, even at low distances. The two 115's are my "subs" you could say.
Do you know a good jack of all trades 15-incher ? (And a recommendable 6" for mid-highs?)
Thx again!

A Jack 15 is one of the BFM designs:
Jack.
I don't mean to be rude, but this is a forum for BFM designs. While there may very well be some people here who could come up with a suitable driver for some other design it's something you are probably better off asking somewhere else. Look at the designs on the BFM site for what this site is about.
An idea for you might be an Omni 15 sub, breaking out the mid and tweet to separate cabs and biamping them. Absolutely doable.

He's right, you would probably get better results asking this question on talkbass forum as this forum is focused on the cabs Bill designs.

I already got some helpful answers here (fEARful, Omni15).
The talkbass guys don't have so much experience in building and speaker-models than you guys! that for sure! (I posed the quest there before. no one came up with a speaker-suggestion)
Please don't throw me out just because it's a not-so-on-topic question!
And I learn with every answer I get.

It's kinda' like going to work at Pizza Hut to learn how to make a hamburger....in the end it will look like a pizza.......cuz' that's what they teach.
So, the longer you hang around - the better chance you will abandon your hamburger and start craving pizza.
Don't say I didn't warn ya'.

Welcome.
On the forum page, check out the "SPL" section. After that, go to the "Everything Else" section for more graphs which will be found on the top in the thread called "Introducing SPL Chart". When you're done there, click on the banner on the top which will take you to the home page. On that screen you can click the different names on the LH side to gain some more info on each different cab style.
Report back when you're done.

Go with a pair of LAB12-loaded 16"w T39s (side-by-side) and a pair of DR200s on sticks (separated, as you want). MUCH better than your original plan.

thx for the tip cause it appeals!
But what I did not see on the page is the mentioned variant: 16"w T39 with a 12" speaker
there is 14" loaded with a 10" and 30" loaded with 12" if I got that right

You can build whatever width you prefer. Wider is better up to a point, and for 12" drivers the minimum width is 16". It's all explained in the plans:
"The width range for tens is 13 to 20 inches external, using 12 to 19 inch wide panels."
"The exterior width range with twelves is 16 to 30 inches, using 15 to 29 inch wide panels."
