Hi All,

I just got an iNUKE NU3000 here in the UK from our friends across the water, Thomann. I haven't tried it yet as it's part of my plan for a new bass rig and I'm waiting for the rest to be delivered. A full report when it's all come together. First impressions though is that it appears to be well made but so light it seems like a toy. Weird!

I'll definitely be following this. I'm looking for an amp for my future T60 rig.
Everything I've looked at before has been the 40lbs ferrite core boat anchors. Something light-weight would be awesome.

I'm anxious to hear some field reports on these as well. Unbelievable prices and nice looking DSP too. Also the X32 digital console is hopefully due out by the end of the year. Also unbelievable price.

Hey Greg... do you know when you will be getting these?

Anyone know the actual RMS power ratings on these amps? It seems up in the useable territory.

Not sure - I'll let everyone know as soon as I do. The iNUKE NU1000DSP should land at a little over $300. 300 watts per @ 4 ohms. You can see all the specs and screen shots of the dsp on their site. The x32 digital console will be $2000ish.

Be aware all of the INUKE power ratings are peak. Still I am very interested in how these amps perform.

I'm thinking that 300 watts @ 4 ohms isn't a peak power rating

Everything I've read says that the ratings are peak and that Behringer will not reveal RMS. There are no spec sheets at the Behringer site to confirm it one way or another.

They are all peak ratings. I had to dig deep in the manual to find the proper ratings for my ep4000.

This is from a German review for the 3000
Peak power 20ms/1000Hz
8 Ohm 2x465
4 Ohm 2x870
2 Ohm 2x1700
RMS (sine wave))
8 Ohm 2x312
4 Ohm 2x600 (2x375 after 3 seconds)
2 Ohm 2x1176 (2x750 after 1 second, protect after 5 seconds)

That's what you've got to watch out for with micro-amps. Peak ratings are useless eye candy, what counts is RMS long term.

Proven power:

Crown MA-10000
or
Crest 10001

For those in need of an honest 40 dB of gain.

Crown 128 pounds
Crest 137 pounds

My whole rack weighs less than one of these :hyper:

But, that is impressive wattage and loads they could handle.

7000W/channel at 2 Ohms, 27 pounds

Nevermind, that's peak wattage.
