Hi all. I'm in the process of constructing 4 of the Wedgehorn 10 monitors using the Beta 10's. We're an IEM band, but every once in a while we are requested to provide production for an opening act. I'm looking for a "down and dirty" 4 channel amp that we can use to send 4 mixes out from our GL2400 board. Again, these wedges might get used 4 times a year, so I'm not looking to spend a lot of cash....Just an inexpensive option.

Thanks everyone!

Matt

+1. Carvin DCM1204.

Or if you are really into DIY, build an amp around the Sure 4x100 class-D amp that PE sells. Don't expect to save money doing it.

Depending on how loud you need to be, Behringer EPQ304, 4 channels with 50W into 8 Ohms in a 1U package.

I have been using this amp for 9 months. It's light, cheap, and plenty of power for Bills wedges.

What amp are you referring to? DCM1204 or Sure 4x100? If the latter, can you post a pic or two of the finished product? PE just sells the bare board.

DCM1204

I have entertained the idea of the Shure route but time and funds are holding me back.
It would be a great build to integrate MINI DSP.
