It's hard to make 250 people in a 1200 capacity venue look exciting...
I had the rig up to 130dB in front of the subs and 120dB 15 or 20' out for awhile before the cops requested we turn it down. It was capable of soooo much more though. I wish I would have measured at full blast. Many compliments on the quality of the sound that night. The promoter told me he had some DJ's ask "is that all the sound?" when they showed up, thinking it was not capable. Little did they know how far 100+db efficiency gets yuh! After they heard the rig they admitted they were not expecting that. They couldn't believe how clean and clear it sounded. And loud.

towards the end when one of the Djs makes an announcement it was actually over the house system which is nothing more than a cluster of some kind of EV tops hung from the middle of the ceiling...hence the near unintelligibility! I didn't realise they were plugged into that with the mic or I'd have switched it to my rig.

:loler: I would seriously get this in EVERY gig I did. They're so used seeing those HUGE 2x15 cabs on top one or two subs ( ) that when I raised the little jacks and "hid" the subs, people were just confused.

How this cabs are tilted that way on a stick? So 2 Otop 212 are enough for gymnasium dance ? At what frequency are this crossed over to subs ?
