Hello all, I'm currently in the process of building a THT for home audio use. I have another DIY sub with this plate amp: http://www.keiga.com.tw/products_kgnd52100.html (1000wrms @4ohms). I'm wondering if this is a suitable amp, or if this is just wayyyy too much power. I'm going to be using the recommended Dayton 15". Thanks for any input!

You may use it, but you won't need even half that power.

Thanks Bill! I don't suppose the Dayton comes in a 4+4 ohm version huh? I guess I'll just have to be careful setting my gains...
