Yamaha 01V Classic - Control Wireless with iPad

Tools:
Yamaha 01V Classic
iPad
MacBook Pro (any Mac will do, even a G4)
USB to MIDI cable ($5)
Wireless Router or Ad-hoc network
Software:
TouchOSC running on iPad ($4.99)
OSCulator running on MBP ($19)
I'm currently using a pre-made template, but I'll be designing one around the specifics that I need in my shows. Right now I've only got 8 channels plus Master working with the faders. I want to be able to control all 16 main channels, at least 2 sub mixes, and effects on at least 4 of the channels.
First thing, hook up the MIDI cable to your Mac and 01V. Strangely enough (or maybe not, considering it's a $5 cable) the plugs need to be swapped. IN goes to OUT and vice versa.
Second, install OSCulator on the Mac. There's a free trial on it, but it's timed. You'll want to go to Parameters then I/O. Make sure the USB cable is checked in both dropdowns.
Click the MIDI button on your 01V until you get to the "CONTROL CHANGE" page. This will show you how the MIDI commands are assigned.
Now fire up TouchOSC on the iPad. You should immediately see the OSCulator port on the iPad app. Click it and select the template you're using.
Now, as you move the faders, you should see the MIDI indicator on the 01V screen. You'll see on your Mac what MIDI command it's actually sending. Set this to whatever is appropriate. For example, 28 is setup by default for the Master Stereo fader.
Here's how far I've gotten. Progress will be updated here first.
