Been reading through the plans and trying to source all the parts. So far i have found:

-Speakers (Eminence Deltalite II 2512)
-tweeters (Stage Line Piezo Tweeter MPT-016) £3.67 each! might have to go with a straight array as its going to work out to expensive to make a cross fired array
-plastic corners
-top hats
-connector dish (2 speakon)
-speakons (Neutrik NL4MP 4-pole Speakon Universal Panel Socket)
-cable (18 guage)
-glue (Everbuild LumberJack 5 Minute Wood Adhesive Gel)

Still to find:

-plywood (need to visit the wood yard)
-filters?
-Screws and bolts (added!)
-dampening material (added!)

So am i missing anything?
Still got a few more reads of the plans to do yet before i start to place orders and get building!
Any comments welcome :D
thanks

PL premium and dampening material.

Also, if using tnut and bolts for acces cover or bolting on driver, you might want to add that to the list. And I guess duratex and some wood filler/bondo for finishing them up.

EDIT: and gasketing tape

pl premium is a problem as you cant seem to get it in england, dampening material is now added to the list!
Yeah bolts and screws is something i need to look into via the plans to work out what i need!

I used this -

The right adhesive. Fastens and expands to fill gaps, very strong. Is the stuff you've chosen recommended? Make sure it is.

Have you asked a quote from Leland? If you need enough, it could be worth while to get piezo's shipped from him. Alternatively, you can PM forum member Sabbelbacke. He is in Europe and will ship to the UK. No idea how much the piezo's go for these days as it has been a while since I ordered some.

That glue is actually on my list of glues that i have been looking at, not sure whether the glue i've chosen is recomended tbh! I'll email leland tomorrow and ask for a quote, i'll have to factor in customs charges aswel i would imagine!
thanks for all the great comments so far

I've used lots of different glues and the Everbuild is the best one, but go for the 30 minute rather than the 5 minute.

Avoid the stage line piezos. CPC now have two types, I've bought some of the cheaper ones to compare against my other arrays but I haven't got round to doing it yet. I'll make an effort this week.

Audio Components also gets a big thumbs up from me.

i thought that the stage line ones were the recomended ones? which one do you recomend then? i'm really not clued up on why certain ones are better than others! advice on the glue is noted!

Unfortunately, not all MPT-016's were created equal!

I'll look for a source - I can't find the MPT-016 at CPC Farnell anymore.

Scratch that, found them:

so the pulse ones are looking good as they are cheaper! Not going to be much cheaper to order from leyland really so i'll probs just go for them. Just struggling on sourcing the filter components now, what is the minimum i can get away with without sacrifising on the sound? I know i need a 4 ohm resistor for the array(although i cant find one!), not really sure which woofer low pass filter to make.

Don't waste your money on the Pulse piezos! Since the piezos are so expensive in the EU, Leland is an excellent source. You can also source all the rest of your needed bits & pieces from Leland.

Just a couple of quick questions:
Just trying to work out what cable i need to use to wire up the tweeters and also to wire up the insides of the cab to the jacks.
http://www.maplin.co.uk/components/cut- ... aker-cable
Any suggestions from there or any other sites?
Also is it worth the extra £10 to go for the delta pro12 over the 2512?
thanks
Phil

Lamp cord works well in the cab....even as small as 22 gauge for the tweets.

Got the wood today, £40 ish for the two sheets which is alright! So i'm going to start cutting this evening i think. Going to order the speakers tomorrow, think i'll just go with the deltalite 2512's.
Also because of the price of piezo's here in the UK at the moment and the exchange rate not be so good, i'm going to have to go for the straight array option to save a bit of money.
As 24 piezos would cost me about £85 either way of doing it!
