Pro-Audio Amplifier for HT Application

I was planning on using the pre-amp outputs of my Yamaha RX-V667 receiver to connect three Crown XTi 1000 amplifiers to my home theater speakers. However, after much investigation and elimination, it appears that the Crown XTi amplifiers produce a hissing (white noise) sound that is audible at low volumes. My original plan was to merge my pro-audio equipment with my home theater since it would save money and I can't be in two places at once, plus I do not DJ very often anymore so it is not a big deal for me to take out my amps and throw them in my flight ready case when I do a gig. However, this hissing is unacceptable for a home theater application, so I would like to know if there are any amplifiers similar to the Crown XTi series that do not produce this hissing and would be acceptable for both home theater and pro-audio usage. Thank you.

I have already done everything possible and it is definitely the amp itself producing the noise. I have tried with and without a power conditioner. I have tried removing the inputs and also tried balanced inputs as well. I have turned off the internal DSP, and even tried connecting the amp without a ground (which actually produced an extremely loud hum on top of the hiss). Even with the attenuators all the way down to nothing, it still produces this very small hiss. This is typical in live sound applications and I found a confirmation on the Crown website that this amp does in fact produce a very small hiss. The receiver does not produce this hiss, or at least it is inaudible even when muted. So I just need to used a better amp and am wondering what would work.

What are you trying to power in your home theater that requires 3 XTi1000's? Planars?

Buying different amps to accomplish what the Yamaha can do kinda defeats this idea?
