what's some good amp/bass head and affordable options do you guys suggest for use with an omni 15 tall boy, for bassist?

I've a Eden WT405 I use with my O15(2x12 version). It's discontinued, but many are still on eBay. 250 watts @ 8, 405 @ 4, 650 @ 2 ohms. Ruggedly built. A bit heavy in the low frequency delivery. I have to EQ out a bunch at 21 & 32 hz so my woofers don't go bananas. A Thumpinator or 4th order BW filter would also help in that regard.

Something with a full EQ, at least 7 bands. The Omnis have a very flat uncolored response compared to commercial cabs, so if you're looking to get a colored sound you need a full EQ to get it. If you want if flat that's OK too, just run the EQ flat.
Many of the current crop of very small lightweight high power Class D amps have very full EQ capability, so I'd check them out. If there's a music store you can take the cab in to and try some heads do so.
